The IT department is changing helpdesk systems on Wednesday, September 30th.

The IT department is excited to announce that we are changing helpdesk systems on Wednesday, September 30th to TeamDynamix. This new system enables us to provide you more timely service and information. From an outage center so you can check to see if the major apps we use are down, to an ever-growing number of knowledge base articles, we will be offering you more ability to get the answers you need quickly and efficiently.

You will continue to be able to put in tickets through the same web or email address, or by phone as before. Please note that ticket status emails will now be coming from notifications@midlandps.org. To ensure email delivery, please add notifications@midlandps.org to your address book, contacts, or safe sender list.

Beginning Wednesday, September 30th, when you visit https://help.midlandps.org, you will be redirected to our new portal at TeamDynamix that can also be accessed from https://midlandps.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/ directly. Once there you will see our new Service Catalog for submitting service requests and incident requests and our new Knowledge Base for articles related to our services. Please note that the Service Catalog and the Knowledge Base sections are in their infancy and we will be adding more services and articles as needed and as time allows.

Staff and students will be able to log in to this new site using their MPS Google account by clicking Sign In in the upper right corner. Signing in will give you the ability to request services, report incidents, and access more knowledge base articles than are available to the public.

We are looking forward to working with all of you through this new set of tools.

Adams Celebrates Earth Day

Happy Friday! This past Wednesday, April 22 was Earth Day. Even though it was a little cold this week, the Adams Elementary staff enjoyed getting outside and working in their yards, picking up trash, recycling, and going for walks. We hope that you enjoy this collection of Earth Day pictures, and that you are able to do some of the same with your family this weekend, too. If you look closely in the pictures, you'll see the newest, smallest member of the Adams Elementary School family!

We miss you, but we look forward every day to seeing the work that you are doing and meeting with you online. Have a good Friday, and enjoy your weekend!

Principal's Message

Scott Cochran

Welcome to Adams Elementary!

Every day is a great day at Adams! This holds true whether you are engaged in our face-to- face classes, or our online Virtual Academy. Every day our award-winning teachers and staff strive to help our students learn, grow, and challenge themselves in every way possible, while paying attention to the whole child.

Regardless of the changes in the world around us, we continue to provide a comprehensive education for all Adams students. Instruction continues in all core academic areas, including Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies, and our students will also enjoy Art, Music, Physical Education, and World Language classes. Assessing and moving students forward in Reading, Writing, and Math, after all of the changes last school year, will be a primary focus for us in 2020-21.

We have worked very hard to put into place safety protocols and support systems to ensure the physical and emotional safety of all of our students, teachers, and staff. Meeting the social- emotional needs of our students, both in-person and online, is paramount.

We are blessed with a diverse, wonderful community that supports the education of our students. Your partnership with us is vital. We look forward to seeing your children arrive every day, and thank you for the opportunity to work with them, to help them grow.

Yours in education,
Scott Cochran
